Those are really nice guitars. I have a reissued Gibson Korina V. I think I payed a lot less for mine, though.

Yes, yes I do. Had a nice chat with him about it in the late 80s when he still owned it.

Don’t think there’s enough spare change under the cushions though.

I would be afraid to offer nine bucks for a flying V for fear of actually winning the bid. The design is so poor, it wouldn't even make a good canoe paddle.

I think I would rather have one of Dave's other guitars.

I like Mr. Davies and the Kinks far more than I like flying Vs. He doesn't want it so why would I?

I am going to bid but I doubt I'll be able to win it. Love Dave, love The Kinks and when I first started playing I had a Kinks Greatest Hits with him playing it on the cover that I wore out.

One of my all time favorite players. Maybe I'll get lucky.

I'd bet the recent high prices of the Gilmour auction has a lot of big names looking over their own old guitars with a raised eyebrow.

I had one of the early Epiphone reissue of those guitars - even came with the weird case. Standing up it was fine - sitting down it was not. I think our own TD sent me some black rubber so I was able to replicate the no-slip leg pad.
