Picked up my Hohner TE Tele today

Havent plugged it into an amp yet (I'm in a hotel room, home Tuesday morning). Feels like a quality guitar. Looks great. The white binding is really cool.

I assumed this was a TE-Prinz model. I prob missed it.

My understanding is that this is a better quality guitar than the "Prinz" models.

Hi all, kinda new here,the Bugera V5 thread brought me here.

Anyhow I thought I'd chirp in on this thread.

In the vein of Hohner guitars, years back I picked up a surf green Hohner "srat" for my wife for $85. I was not expecting much, to my surprise it turned out to be a fantastic guitar, so much so I decided it was worthy of serious upgrading, so I put some Fender Custom Shop 60's in it and the whole deal, CTS pots etc. I shielded the cavities real good too. And now it's a keeper. Even my die hard "Fender only" brother loves it.


I said all that just to say I'm sure there are some great Hohner Tele's out there too!

I do have a mutt "Tele", a parts bin special I put together, so I'm glad I found this site. Hope to learn more about these wonderful guitars.
