Just got a new Joyo JF-02 Ultimate Overdrive. I like how it sounds. Only problem is that it is picking up a radio station. It's not overpowering, but it is annoying. I'm using battery power. None of my other pedals do this. Anybody know what the cause is, and is there a fix?

Try a different cable. It'll might away or change it to a better station.

Poor lead dressing and extensive oxidation/board contamination, especially around diodes can lead to this.

A bad patch cable could also contribute.

I just got a used Devi Ever Ruby Fuzz (tonebender style) from
Guitar Center for Christmas. It picks up a Christian Radio station when the knobs are on Zero. I've already had to repair 2 things inside this pedal. It's only reliable with a battery. In my pedal it could be poor quality, or someone was trying to mod it (there's some electrical tape in there), or the Lord is just trying to speak to me thru my FuzzBox ?

Cable and or guitar shielding and maybe a pickup combined with the other two, not sure how it works..I had a Marshall that along with a bad cable and a unshielded guitar cavity would pick up a ham radio operator Named XLFOX, I thought it was cool back then I was in my teens,I didnt have enough knowledge with the shielding part of guitar building.

My dad had a Yamaha two manual electric organ back in the mid 70's. On cold nights it would pick up a Russian radio station.

Seriously though I've been using one for about three years and mine has never broadcast anything but a guitar signal so I'm wondering if Mind Flayer's problem has more to do with his cable or his guitar acting as the antennae.

I don't run off battery power so I can't tell you how long it will run on a 9v Tazz but it's a pretty versatile pedal as far as OD goes. Lot's of gain on tap if you want it and two different voicings. One more of a vintage Fender and the other more like a Marshall.
