Why not jus find knobs that fit from an electrical retailer or eBay, I think the knobs look piss poor anyway.

It's been said the best speaker cabinet is made of concrete. Given just how impractical that is, the MDF that the Cube cabs are made of is a decent substitute. I'd leave it alone if you like the sound. I personally don't like for the cabinet to react much. You could reduce weight with a solid pine cab and a NeoD speaker. Maybe knock 10 lbs off total.
Now, I did see where someone made a replacement grill that was wheat and it looked really good.
^^^ The comment about a concrete cabinet is alluding to hifi speaker cabinets. There you are trying to recreate a signal faithfully. With guitar amp cabinets, especially for solid-body guitars, we're dealing with a rather thin, unappealing signal -- you'd know this if you've ever plugged a guitar straight into a stereo. That's why we look for anything that can add interest to the signal: a lively pine cabinet, tube distortion, etc...
I have never heard that, from my experiences cabs made of pine sound far superior to those of mdf/chipboard. Mdf/chipboard sounds dead and lifeless. Solid pine is a lot brighter, livelier and resonate. Maybe for a subwoofer concrete would be ok but not for a guitar where your trying to milk every frequency and harmonic.
Sorry... I don't think a resonant cabinet is a good thing in any sound reproduction device.
My understanding is that it is a waste of energy.
What if you've got energy to spare? And you like the resulting tone?
There's just not much in the way of online reviews on them... At the moment I'm playing through the clean channel, 1st setting, volume maxed, master at 3-4, bass 0, middle and treble dimed, reverb at noon, presence at noon, using An ews ep booster and ews fuzzy drive, all maxed, roll back the volume on my les paul I get a great early zeppelin rhythm sound, think communicaton breakdown, roll the volume up abit for the solo, all the way up for feedback And dub step lol
I wish someone would start a roland bc specific forum.....

Might be interesting but kinda tough for an amplifier that was discontinued several years ago. I bought one of the very last BC60's available from Musician's Friend, and it's likely to be one of the last I let go of.
Talk about a cult classic!
I have been wanting a Cube forum forever. No dice. There is a world full of users that either wouldn't participate or don't want to come out as users.
