I've tried them twice over a couple year gap in time...didn't like them...felt rougher than E Ball or D'Addarios and went dead pretty fast. Their flatwounds were ok since they should sound flat/dull by design.

I have used their acoustic strings for the last couple of years and they seem fine to me. It has been a while since I had any electric strings so I forget how they were. Must have been good or I would remember, lol

I've used them for a couple of years now ( switched from D'Addarios) . I use their acoustic strings on my dobro and their electric strings. I'm very happy with them.

Same. They had a weird texture when I tried them.

I have been using them for years on both acoustic and electrics. Great strings, great prices, fast service. What's not to like?

They're all I've used on my electrics for the past few years. I find that they last longer for me than D'Addarios and aren't prone to breaking as easily as Dean Markleys. I think they feel similar to GHS strings, and at the price I can't beat 'em.

I've used them a couple of times, too - no complaints. Prices were good, strings were good.

Been using their electric strings for a few years now. No more problems with them than with any other. I don't have so many guitars now, but when you have more than just a few, the cost of restringing can get up there. Saved me a few bucks!

Been using their strings for a couple years now.
Buy 'em 2 dozen at a time.
I used to think I just wasn't picky, then I bought a set from another cheapie retailer, and they felt cobby, like those strings that come on cheap Asian guitars.
I do change strings often...every gig...but when I leave them on for long periods of time...say, a guitar that I don't use too often...they seem to last a good long time.
Rob D. turned me on to them, and I still trust him!

No, I stopped using them after several bad batches of bass strings. Flatwounds that fell apart as they were being put on, completely dead rounds... went back to d'addario for bass and slinky for electric.

I know this is an old thread but... I'm bringing it back from the dead!!!

I'm thinking of ordering 20 sets of Memphis Electric Light .010 -.046 from webstrings.com. I've read mostly good things about them but most comments are along the lines of "sound and feel good". Well, that is useful information but I need more!

I want to know if anyone has had problems setting the intonation of their guitars with these strings. I never knew this could be an issue until several months ago when I bought 6 sets of strings from guitarfetish.com and on every single set there was an issue with this. On 4 or 5 sets I could not get the low E to intonate properly and on 1 or 2 sets it was the D string. In all cases when I put on a D'Addario string the problem was instantly solved.

I'm not that picky about my strings except for this one issue. Can anybody comment on this?

A lot of years ago I tried webstrings. My ear and hands were less well trained then, and I thought they were fine. Then I ran out and needed a new set at the last minute, so I got a set of Fender 150's from the local shop and noticed a big improvement in my tone, particularly in the D and G strings.

A few years after that I sent a guitar to Rob D. to work on, and he sent it back with a new set of Webstrings. The G string just kind of plinked, the rest of the strings sounded mediocre. I thought he might have broken my guitar until I put a good set of strings on it.

I wanted to believe it was possible that they were good strings, but it wasn't to be. I love DR strings and I like Ernie Ball, and I can't see any reason to waste time on anything else.

I've done fine with the Memphis 10-46 set. I change strings on my main guitars almost every gig, so I'm looking for the most toneful, yet cost-effective solution. Service and pricing are good, too.
