Yeah, that's the pic I was waiting for! Good old (0le) FUZZY! I sure do MISS HIM!!

It's hard getting hold of 4" carriage bolts over here. What does the Stew Mac Tool look like? And how does it work?

I have one and it works very well.

But I suffer from TAS as well as GAS

just ordered the stew mac tool thanks

PITA but I used a needle nose pliers and put the pliers on the inside of the input then opened them up and pulled it through. The problem is there is just barely enough thread to get the nut on, it takes a lot of patience for sure but can be done. Mine failed once on my 52RI but its been holding for over 1 year now, if it ever fails again I will get an electro jack cup like I have on my partscaster, much easier to install and will never fail/come loose.
