There's the C0ck and Bull downtown.

There some other funny ones in French that don't translate well.

Hmm, the ones around here are pretty average, Carol & Dave's Roadhouse, Cool Springs Express, Forks Inn, Joe's, Bull's Tavern, The Rowdy Buck Roadhouse, so on and so forth...

Round here we've got The Poacher, George & Dragon, Golden Ball, Three Horseshoes and there used to be one called Trinity Foot, whatever that meant!

The Jolly Pig in Borger, Texas.

Not sure if they're still open since it's been years since I've been there, but...The Road to Ruin in Logan, New Mexico.

My favourite local one is The Moody Cow. Always worth a laugh to take the wife there.

It's quite common over here for locals to call pubs by nicknames so The Black Swan is usually known as The Mucky Duck.

There's a place down the street from me--I don't even know it's real name, but the T and the A on the sign have been burned out forever, and it's known to all as The Vern.

my favorite named place in chicago is "the hungry brain." but it's hardly a comfy pub--more like a hipster hangout.

my personal local favorite was the "sexty sex" lounge on 66th street. sadly, it's switched hands and the owner has switched names...

we used to have the "Ecentric Egret" years ago as well as "Casa Loco", "Capt. Weeks 10 Grand Saloon", and "The Wreck Bar". all are gone now but the memories (as i remember them) live on

My favorite was the one in college called The Library. If your mom called, your roommate could say "oh he's at the library".

We have the London Pickle Works down the street. I'm still trying to figure out what London has to do with pickles or vice versa. There is absolutely nothing about the place that gives it a British pub type atmosphere.
