Wow! I've had my Weber Genesis for 20 years and the cast iron grates look almost new, and I grill all year round in Massachusetts (I just used it tonight- apparently with the grate installed upside down)!but I have had a very hard time making them last.

It turned out pretty good. I’ll try it with burgers tomorrow. In fairness, those grates wiped clean without much effort.
