Pretty crazy stuff

A former intelligence official turned whistleblower has given Congress and the Intelligence Community Inspector General extensive classified information about deeply covert programs that he says possess retrieved intact and partially intact craft of non-human origin.

He appears to be a credible witness rather than the usual stuff.

While I dont believe aliens are flying around keeping themselves unknown, but with the billions of potential habitable planets out there, it's entirely possible that some satellite, "voyager" type science device, inadvertently got into the Solar System's, and then Earth's gravitational pull. The odds seem extremely low to me, but odd things happen. Like the bullet fired into the air hit someone standing in the street miles away....

I’m not sure I believe any of it (as much as I want to) but what you describe is at least, in my mind, a plausible scenario.

I saw this, and immediately assumed that it meant they're out of anything useful to keep hidden.

It's interesting, and slowly all the UFO stuff becomes less government classified and more "yea, we're out of ideas" type of a mystery.
