George Harrison played a Telecaster for 2 weeks ( January 15 th of Januari untill 30 th of January 1969) called the Telecaster ” The worst guitar I have ever played” and did not play a Telecaster again for the rest of his life ( if you dont count his playback guitar playing on Got my mind set on you). Not a Good poster boy for the Telecaster. So sad also his wife 2 years after his Death buys the Rose wood Telecaster George called ” The worst guitar I have ever played” only to make money on his name, and Off course money hungry Fender distributes the guitar but pays a heavy royalty To Olivia Harrison. This is nothing But big scandal to capitalise on the only guitar George did not like. Olivia has Done just about everything against Georges wishes so that does not surprise me. And Fender has not been a real company since Leo owned it. By the way the Rosewood Telecaster was the least used Beatkd guitar of them all and George immidiately gave away the guitar to Delany Bramlet Who heavily modified it. Not strange though. Delany Bramlet gigged with Duane Allman, and Allmans guitar tech called the Rose wood Telecaster ” Worst gigging guitar ever”. Even James Burton sent back his to Fender.
George Harrison however was a very Good poster boy for Fender Stratocaster so Fender got something back from the Beatle. Though They did not get back the 150 Fender Stratocasters George Harrison owned at his death.

you seriously think that the money the Harrison estate makes from Fender is more than a rounding error in comparison to his Beatles and solo earnings?
Were you harmed by a rosewood telecaster in the past?

So how much did you pay for your Rosewood Telecaster?

He did use this Tele-style Roy Buchanan Bluesmaster during the Japan tour in 1991.
Roy Buchanan Bluesmaster by the Fritz Brothers. Has absolutely nothing to do with a Telecaster. Much more to do with a Stratocaster. It has 3 pick ups a 7 way switch, push pull button to activate more than 7 Switches. The 3 pick ups were also active and EMG pick ups. Active pick ups are very diffeeent from passive pick ups. And a Strat presence controll making Single coil pick ups sounding like Humbuckers. In this case I must state clearly just because the body looks the same it is NOT the same guitar. Its a Fritz Brothers Lurhier guitar. Not a Fender. At its time the most advanced guitar ever made. George told Roger Fritz he loved the guitar because he could get all the Stratocaster sounds available and most Les Paul sounds avsilable as well. He did not say a Word about a Telecaster. But believe Me the Freitas Brothers Roy Buchanan Bluesmaster is as far away from a Telecaster as you possibly can get.

Some guitars just stink. The factory makes the occasional lemon.

Most Teles, Strats, ES-335s, LPs, etc I’ve played are good to great guitars. But I’ve played some real dogs, too.

I’ve read on and on about how Suhr guitars are great. I don’t doubt it. But I’ve only played one, a Tele model, and it was terrible. The fret work was inconsistent; a few fret wire edges were sticking out proud on the upper and lower edges of the fingerboard as if incomplete pressing/hammering occurred and they had sharp edges as if there wasn’t a file around the shop that day. But enough good players swear by them so I just concluded that it escaped Quality Control on that day. It happens…

In fact, I had a Rivera-era Fender Concert ii modded years ago. The tech noted a wire inserted in one of the tube pins and it was never soldered. But it obviously passed Quality Control. Amazingly the amp never malfunctioned. Go figure.

Some explanation of the photo of the Roy Buchanan Bluesmaster Guitar its specs and Harrisons praising it for sounding exactly like a Stratocaster

First, you're special.

Second, how do you know it was "the only guitar George did not like"?

Third, how the hell would you know what George's wishes were?
