What you got? My old 03' Hustler Z. It's been a good one. I've replaced both belts once and that's it. Does need a new seat.

We got this Husqvarna 560X in April 2021. We’re averaging just over 100 hours per year on it so far, mowing about 9-10 acres of pasture at 5” and a small area around the main buildings at 3-1/2” or 4”.
It has a carbureted 825cc 27 hp Yamaha V-twin and a 60” fabricated/welded deck. So far quite pleased with it; before we had this we were mowing with a 1947 Farmall Cub with a 60” belly mower, or a 1950 Ford 8N with a 60”
Brush hog, depending on how behind in the mowing we were.
The Husky is bumpier because of the smaller wheels but is faster and more maneuverable, by far. And the Yamaha seems like a sweet runner.

we have an old John Deere commercial model with a 60" deck. Kawasaki engine. It allows me to do 3 acres in about 3 hours. I like it.

John Deere. It was a return at Lowes (brand new) for half price ($1500).
Love my Kubota Kommander. Not cheap ($7000) but Kubotas are awesome!

Just got a Bad Boy ZT Elite my first zero turn don't know how good it is yet mowed once
Cub cadet Tank ... nice mower ... gave it to my bil when we moved. Sure it felt great to finish a great lawn, but i don't miss mowing. Rear grass eject would have been sweet!

I mow my mom’s 6-7 acres with an old Ford 8N with a 60” Land Pride 3-point hitch mounted finish mower, and it has rear grass eject. It is in fact really nice; you can mow right up to buildings or plants on either side, and you can vary your mowing direction without having to worry about a side chute piling clippings up in weird patterns.

I had this John Deere for a couple years, before hiring a lawn service. My grandson would love to ride with me when he came for a visit. Blades not engaged when he was on!! btw Grandson is now 17

7 year old Hustler Raptor that I just got last year for free. Found in a shed with only 44 hours on the meter, had to be towed out of the shed onto a flatbed trailer. When I got it the seat was eaten away by racoons, most of the wire harness was eaten away, the motor's cooling fins were packed with nest material, also tons of turds everywhere. Had to wear an N95 mask while cleaning it. New seat, coils, battery, plugs, filters, oil, belts, new wiring, and running great.

SCAG Freedom-Z, 54" purchased in about 2006 or there abouts. It's way too big for our "downsize" property compared to the old property, but...it's paid for. Since I'm also cutting the lot nextdoor for the owner (a neighbor and friend), it's no big deal. Should I decide to sell the current machine in the future, it will get replaced with an electric ZTR.

Bought a Hustler Raptor XL a couple years ago. So far it has been great. I’m glad to see the other Hustlers going strong. It replaced a Gravely walk behind. The Gravely was still going great. I was wearing down. I had one knee replacement and bunion surgery and am working on the matching sets.
I lived on an acre of grass for 15+ years.
I was the lawn boy.
We went through 3 or 4 (?) crap riding tractors in that time.
Didn’t maintain them (working single mom, bunch of kids) and abused the hell out of them.
My little sister used to put it in high (surprisingly fast) with the deck low and the lawn would look like hell when she was done.
Finally I was the only one trusted with the lawn .
Took three+ hours - if you didn’t string

Would have loooooved a zero turn back then…

I'd like to have zero turn for my 2 acres of mowing, but not at the cost. My old Craftsman 20 HP 42" conventional lasted 15 years and still wasn't done when I gave it to my neighbor. Now using a used $350 labeled Craftsman, but it's a Husqvarna. It ain't what the older Craftsman was. Hate the hydrostatic tranny.
I currently have a Troy Bilt riding mower, haven't touched it since I replaced it with the EGO self-propelled push mower.
Thought for a quick minute about the EGO Zero Turn options, that went out the window when I saw the price
