Zebrawood Tele Style Finished

    I know its not traditional, but I was looking for a lot of different capabilities with this guitar, and I feel I succeeded. These are also the prototype Rose Pickup Day Dreamers.

    Well I have to admit, when I first saw that piece of wood a while back with the grain running the wrong way I thought it looked very odd. But now that its done and all dressed up it looks pretty incredible. Nice job.

    Thanks Jkingma. I understand, I had doubts myself. I kept think, fiddle back... flamed maple.. its similar, maybe it wont be so bad.

    It is beautiful. Great job on the finish. How much does she weigh?

    Thanks Steve. Its a bit hefty. Weighs nearly 8 lbs. Actually 1 1/2 lbs lighter than when it was all alder.

    That's not too heavy IMO. I have a couple that hit 10lbs.

    It takes a bit to get use to, the grain running the "wrong" direction, but once you do, it is a great looking guitar, thanks for the pics.
