I am fortunate to have had this made available to me .
A bit of walnut goodness .
I don't understand the thread subject/title
This is The Home Depot . All guitars made from wood begin like this . Picture 1 shows a basic tree , albeit a Black Walnut tree . What is in store is me showing the TDPRI the various steps that I use in processing a tree into what eventually will end up as a guitar . Doesn't get more DIY than that .
We're all just trees in the end.
I can forgive the grammar slip coz I wanna see what happens to the tree. I wonder . . . if it could be . . . guitars . . .
Very cool. Can't wait to see the next steps. Thanks.
But, how does that make me "basic tree"?
This is how that piece of wood we end up holding in our hands starts out.
It like where does milk come from - the store?
Split on the rift too .
You are tree,
I am groot.
Good lookin walnut though...
Sweet looking wood.
Maybe it's a put down; as in "You're basic, Tree."
Seriously, looks like some very nice walnut, can't wait to see what kind of guitar you make with it.
Probably has a phone like mine where you get everything but what you want to really text.
"Wood" it make sense if the OP had Posted "Your basic Tree"?
ahhh, technological progress! right, I keep forgetting about how tech is making everything better for all of us
My dad and i used to take stumps that size, drill a hole down to the center, put a mixture of pellet fertilizer, black powder and flammable fluid into the hole, run a fuse to it and plug the hole , light the fuse and RUN!
And split em that way.
Wood wedges would go a flyin
I am in fact NOT a tree
you mean Knot a tree, I think
Leaf him alone Blowtorch, you know what he means!
I tree what you did there
