    I was in three of the bands playing at my wedding. :)

    Briefly joined her on the floor to kick things off to Lou Reid’s Perfect Day then left her to dance and chat to all her friends.

    This was our song - at the reception. On an scratchy 78rpm record on an old record player. A pretty schmaltzy song; from the "sweeter" side of the Swing Era. We're still married 41 years later + another 8 years of dating then living together.....Phew!

    When I married my lovely wife music hadn't been invented. Seriously we got married in Sept 1960 so its not long to our 58th anniversary. But my memory won't recall the Bridal Waltz but it would've been played on a record player back then.

    We both had words earlier today, but I didn't get to use mine.. S :D:D
