I don’t buy signature stuff typically. I did buy my first new acoustic years ago and I went in with a clear goal and price point. I played everything in my range and picked the best 3. Two Ibanez Talmans and a Washburn in Black. That should clue you in to my price range. They were pretty even, no standout. Eventually I bought the Black Washburn. Probably had nothing to do with being a huge Daniel Ash/Love and Rockets fan.(eye roll)
I also own a Dimebag CFH wah. Got it in a bulk deal with my cousin and it it simply the best Crybaby out there, 535Q included. Sleeper wah!

I really wanted a Yamaha LJ16, which seems to be rarer then hen’s teeth, in the US. I tracked down a LJ16BC (Billy Corgan sig model) at the Music Zoo. This guitar holds its own against any 3K Martin I played, and cost a third as much.

No way would I ever own a signature guitar.

I'd rather play my trusty old Les Paul.

I really wouldn’t want to own a tribute guitar or a signature guitar for the most part, outside of a Telecaster like Muddy Waters played or a Telecaster Custom like Keef’s...and even then, I’d probably end up modding the thing.

Some of these are very cool, though.
