Reelin in the Years, really painful by the Osmonds.

KNOCK THREE TIMES..........or anything by Tony Orlando and Dawn.......certainly deserves mention. As does anything by Anne Murray. Or Murray McLaughlin, or anything by a musician named Murray.

How about "Glory of Love" by Chicago?

"I am a man who will fight for your honor..."

REO Speedwagon takes the 80's 'Fromage D'Amour' or 'Cheese of Love' award.

That song's awesome, I've listened to it hundreds of times!

Nah, it's just rock and roll, "Bop bopa-a-lu a whop bam boo!"

Funny how so many of the truly (IMO, the ones that were unintentionally so, as well as hits, as opposed to those where the intention was to be, um, not so serious) cheesy ones are from my time of being a little kid, with my feet dangling off the back seat of the car, listening to WKBW (AM) radio.

    Here's one I didn't see here:

Nothing posted so far surpasses this morsel of old Canadian cheddar. Thank you Paul Anka for keeping us in the running.

+1 REO Speedwagon .... you are sooo right. Their stuff in the 80's really stunk like limburger cheese.

Haha, the B-side is "Put the bone in". A song about seeking a bone for his doggie that got hit buy a car. My sister had the 45 when we were kids, I got more mileage out of the B-side, I thought it was hilarious, in a so bad it's funny kinda way. I was too young to get any other references.

Cheeseburger in Paradise. It even has cheese in the title.

There are also a lot of Steely Dan songs that I would like to throw into the list, but the one that mentions Black Cow is absolutely awful.

Starts with Tell Laura I love Her and all the other car crash songs.

One Bad Apple by the Osmonds loses in the try and compete with the Jackson's cheesy songs category.
