My current tone is a Fender guitar (Or Fender style bolt on, SSS or SSH set up) through THIS set up.
- Boss TU-3 Tuner
- Mooer Solo distortion.
- Ibanez Stereo Chorus
- Mooer Analog Delay
Into a Fender Solid stage Stage 112 SE.
I never switch off the reverb which is around halfway open. I use the chorus as a lush typically eighties, tonal embellishment, the delay is set on slapback and the distortion pedal is set to add hair on the clean tone. I also use the amp's drive channel for true overdriven tones, with the pedal as a boost for solos. But Never in the Metal realm concerning the gain, I got bored of that kind of tone. So, my rig will NOT chug.
As for how that sounds.
Here I plugged my rig into my recording interface, so this is my sound in the most honest way possible.
