Some great ideas so far but many I already have.

This doesn't have to be "genre" related either. Just no rap, hip hop, etc.

There's got to be some great Tele pickin' albums out there that I've forgot about?

    Keep them coming please...

I think best of albums are also for people who want to listen to the music they recognize and enjoy. I will leave the back sides unrecognizable songs on the albums to you. Enjoy!

Probably the first greatest hits albums I had were Hot Rocks, Through The Past Darkly, and Meaty, Beaty, Big and Bouncy. I've had a lot of others at one time or another, including Tom Petty's and the Eagles' greatest hits. For me, those first three I mentioned, plus CCR's greatest hits are the best (I'm really surprised CCR doesn't get more mention here. Just about every song on there is great, to me anyway). Another I like a lot is the Rascals. A lot of great songs and Felix Cavaliere had a really soulful voice IMO.

The first album that was ever "mine". My aunt gave it to me for my birthday (after I had worn out her copy)
