What's the guitar, amp or piece of gear that you have that you don't like or won't ever choose?

I just can't do it anymore.

Hashtag? Isn’t that a bit risqué on the TeeDee? Lol...

Mine is a DOD Grunge pedal. Literally bought it as a joke, found it used at a pawn shop, but it was a joke...on me.

Nothing. If I don’t have a use for it, I don’t get it.

I have a fulltone "69" fuzz that I've tried and tried and just cannot get happy with. I think it's supposed to sound like a fuzzface but it just sounds bad to me.

    Mines either a

Fender champion 100 - tone controls are funky and hard for me to get a decent sound, pedals do not work for this amp, probably one of my worst financial gear blunders
Eh it sounded good in the shop!

    Or

Squier VM jaguar- the pickguard started pealing immediately and arrived from sweetwater with a tone pot that only worked on 10 (so much for sweetwaters check list) and it’s got the most pencil thin neck ever

I’d actually probably play the jag more if I got a replacement neck for it

Something we used for extensions on corded phones (who would have thought)

Yeah, I've been hearing it for 10 years now and still have no idea what it means. Neither does my S.O.

My last in line is an Epi Les Paul Special II that I got in a trade a few years ago. The stock pickups were garbage so I put in a set of used Ibanez ACH pickups. They're better than the stock ones, but still suck compared to the pickups in all my other guitars. I've got like four LP Specials now and I'm just gonna give this one to a friend.

A Parker NiteFly that I used almost exclusively at my church for about a year or so. Then I got an American Deluxe Telecaster. Also began to play a separate acoustic, and hardly played the Parker out again. “Loaned” the Parker to a grandson for him to learn how to play.

I kind of get it when it's used as a link to something on FB...although not sure why you need the #...is it a Twitter thing? But I have no idea what it means when used in the title of this thread....it doesn't serve any purpose that I can see.

What is this “hashtag” of which you speak? I’m pretty sure that is a symbol representing the word “number”, and that the title of this thread, “Your #Last”, is a play off of another thread started earlier today, “Your #1”:

    #1, #Last, it’s funny, right?

Yes I thought it was an Americanism meaning "number".

I've got (ahem - "gotten") used to using it, just to fit in with y'all (is that right?). Now I I just feel stoopit.

I'm going back to using solid British "No.1" etc.

Back on topic, I sold this recently, pretty much unused since 1976. FB_IMG_1540013604656.jpg

    It pretty much funded this:

    20200205_105452.jpg

Much nicer though Barry the Cat is unimpressed.

Guitar: Well, I have several incomplete or failed projects but I'd have to rank this Agile LP Jr style as my least favorite. Selling it online would be tricky because of the pre-C&D headstock and the considerable potential of a dissatisfied buyer requesting a refund. Selling it in person would be difficult because it's shortcomings would be apparent quickly. The guitar is built well but just sounds dead and is extremely heavy for a Jr type guitar. In the picture, it was setup for slide and has the logo of a short lived band.

    42489779242_0fb0d486ee_o.jpg

Amps: I'd have to say a Crate practice amp I bought for $10 at a garage sale.

Pedals: There are several clunkers I've bought. One that's nice but essentially unusable to me is a Dano Free Speech talk box pedal. I can't use it since it picks up my weird nasal passages resulting in an awful sound. Selling a pedal that you stick in or near your mouth was a no-go previously and even more these days.

I've done the same, no point keeping gear that you don't like/use.

I never bought anything I didn't like or wouldn't use, nothing to cull. More folding beer vouchers left for the important things in life. :D
