Get some beef… cut it into thin strips

make a marinade

- 100ml of Soy sauce
- nice tablespoon of a sweet mango chutney or sweet chilli sauce
- a couple of cloves of crushed garlic
- a finely chopped fresh chilli (two if brave)
- half a teaspoon of Chinese 5 spice

Stick the beef strips in the marinade

Get some dried noodles and put them in boiling water to soften.

While the noodles are boiling get a carrot and a stick or two of celery and cut them into very thin strips about 4cm long.

Warm up a wok

Fish out the beef strips from the marinade and stir fry them, when the beef begins to brown add and stir fry the carrot and celery and cook till soft, chuck in the drained noodles and mix in the remaining marinade.. warm it all up..

ENJOY!

I like it over Brown rice instead of noodles too.

Any.. i just LOVE littering the planet with loads of plastic with every meal!
A grain of salt when reading this post is recquired.

I don't have a car, i am entitled to eat ramens with unleaded sauce.
Seriously though, we were talking about this with my friends last week end, this problem has no solution. Ban cars, plastic, everything you want. As long as people are multiplying, it won't stop until we get kicked back from earth.

You could get away in the mountains, build solar panels, breed chickens and wheat and goats, in 2050, 10 billions of us. You will have to stand guard to protect your potatoes.

Honestly, we are doomed. It is good that you think about the environment as long as you are coherent with yourself. That is what bugs me. I want to save the planet, but i have 2 kids, who will have 2 kids, i drive a car, i eat meat from the supermarket, i have a smart phone, i like to buy guitars though i could probably build them myself and cut a finger or two.

The good thing is that kids nowadays start to get it, and why it is important to recycle and compost. And not buy stuffs to put them in the trashcan as soon as you get home. (except sneakers. they will use every last inch of thread on them )

Same for the appliances. Not long ago, people were proud that their appliances would last for a life time and that you could repair them. Nowadays, it is use it and trash it. my new car's ashtray is full, i would better get a new one.

Not saying you are not coherent. But it takes a lot to be totally coherent with that ideology.

Yours truly, a member of the misanthropic nihilist church. -founded by a member-. Just kidding he made it up.

The best 59 cent college student lunch you could find. Probably $1.19 now.

Never had it.
Am I missing something ?
Aren't you by definition missing something in every experience you haven't had?

Cup noodles are among the tastier things you can scarf down with 3 minutes of cooking. And they're cheap. So cheap and filling that in WWII, the US Army briefly considered fueling our soldiers with instant ramen in lieu of canned rations. Sodium levels are pretty bad though.

I like several, but this one has been my favorite lately. It’s not a cup, it’s a bowl, so it’s actually meal-sized rather than just a snack. I add veggies sometimes to make it almost healthy.

You beat me to it. My wife is Japanese and favors this brand over the Korean ones which tend to overpower you with the hot spices. I like to add chopped fresh green onion to it.

The ones i have not tried yet are shrimp noodles, and bbq noodles, whatever this means.
@Jupiter are those really number 1 in japan ? Or is this the false advertisement ?
Heck I dunno! But yeah, Nissin is a major player in the instant ramen space. All of my kids have actually visited the Kansai factory and created their own original cup noodle!

My favourite is the one I pass on, because cup noodles aren't exactly healthy. Yes, I'll see my way out, thank you :D
