This stuck in my mind as a wee lad in the early 60s. Eddie and the boys do a good job with it.

The Cavaliers were from my hometown. San Angelo, TX. The bassist was Brian Boatler. When I was maybe 20 I was in a band with his son Michael, who was a killer bass player in his own right.

J Frank Wilson and The Cavaliers are the only band from my hometown ever to chart that high.

I love Bob Ezrin's production on most things, and the car crash at the end was a thrill to my 12-year old ears many moons ago
