The Musitron solo in "Runaway". Pretty interesting for 1961.

Which riff or riffs do you love, that aren’t played on guitar?

I especially love riffs from electronic from the 90s that aren’t guitars, but would make sick guitar riffs, and I always thought Breathe from The Prodigy was an epic riff.

What’s yours?
A couple come to mind.......

P.S......I do a trio arrangement of Take on Me, with the keyboard licks all on guitar.

The harmonica intro in Billy Joel’s Piano Man.
The fiddle/violin Novi plays on the Doobie Brothers’ Black Water.
Jeff Baxter’s PSG on The Doobies’ South City Midnight Lady.
