That brings back some memories. I use to watch them on MTV and heard that they were a Portland band. In 1982 my older brother drove me 2 hours to Portland cause I didn't have my license yet, so I could buy a bass guitar from Showcase. Behind the sales counter leading to the back rooms I could see several equipment cases with Quarterflash stenciled in white letters on them. I think Showcase used to have a small recording studio in addition to their sales floor. Showcase is now long gone along with Apple and a bunch of others.
