    I wouldn't laugh at that one.... it's a powerful intro, great lick, great tone! I use it all the time in music stores and sound checks when I'm testing gear :)

    Well, that’s true, but a bad example: Bowie had just fired the Spiders and he played the guitar on Rebel Rebel himself (and almost all the Diamond Dogs album).

    While we are doing Bowie though you can’t forget Earl Slick’s great work on Station To Station... the song and the album. Not sure if the fantastic intro to Stay is him or Carlos Alomar...

    Man, I dig the Mermen. Sadly, I live in Illinois, and I don't think they tour except the coast.
