    What’s your amps etc in your house/apartment/what ever?

    I had to upgrade because the ’65 PRRI didn’t have space in the band room.

    So:

    Upstairs;

    889A8108-F5F1-4637-B930-E6C413F277BA.jpeg

    Vox AC4C1-12 with upgraded blue alnico, usually hooked up to an AC50 big box with Fane speakers. ’65 PRRI goes through an UA Ox to get decent levels. Ox is connected to a Soundcraft signature 10 mixer. 2 x Yamaha DBR10s. An ABY-box would be nice addition. Had a Lehle little dual once and it was great!

    Downstairs;

    1FC918ED-A232-479E-BEA7-33C6647EF33B.jpeg

    Cubase 11 elements and Wavelab elements, what ever the latest version is. UA Apollo USB-interface. Yamaha HS5(?) monitors. Akai MPK225 and MPD218.

    So nothing fancy here, but it’ll get me through the night. Fun stuff to wank about.

    Let’s see some photos, please!

    I've got a Fender Mustang III in my office, along with a few guitars to mess around on during the day.

    I've been upgrading my studio a bit at a time. The main piece of gear for guitar is my Mooer GE-200, which I use for pretty much all of my recordings.

    I'm using a Mackie Pro FX 12 as an interface, into Magix Acid Pro 8. It's not much to look at but it gets the job done.

    Either of these depending on my mood.

    When I'm recording it's not much fancier. In fact, not at all.

    Tone Bakery DC20 and a Boss ME-50.

    Amp is one half a non-reverb Princeton style and the other half an EF86 Vox style, so almost like having two amps.

    Was going down the rabbit hole with another pedal board build (all-Boss was the idea), then scrapped it for an ME-50. Gets me what I need.

    No noise complaints yet, but we’re moving so we’ll see how it goes in the new neighborhood.

    I do all my recording direct to software with Scuffham S-Gear (Lexicon Alpha interface, super basic but it’s served me well for all these years, into a 2012 MacBook Air...which also does the job). Just streamlined and easy and I don’t have to worry about background noise.

    Don't worry, there's a method to this madness, sort of. The upcoming problem is where my newly repaired SFPR is going to fit in.

    I have 2 different setups.

    - Acoustic (basic pedal board) XLR to mini pa

    - Electric (pedal board) to Headlight to various amps.

    I use a Fender Mustang GT40 mostly. My 6505 half stack and Bassbreaker 18/30 are a little much.

    Currently I’m playing through a DV Mark Greg Howe Little 250 into that DV 208 (handles 300 watts). In front is a Polytuner, a Saffron Squeeze compressor, a Spark boost, a Joyo Uzi and a Donner Dark Mouse. Canyon delay/looper in the loop (on the table). That diagonal arm on the tripod in front of the cab holds my iPad in perfect position for recording myself, and butts the iPad microphones right up against the grill cloth of the 208, effectively micing it with the iPad. It works amazingly well. I have a Bluetooth clicker that I use to turn on and off the iPad camera recorder.

    Pssst, it's ok to take the sticker off now!

    Actually I once saw I guy play at a blues jam in Denmark Street with a tele that he had obviously just bought in the same street, as it still had the "old tagger" on it.

    I haven't been down Denmark Street in 7 years. I must take a trip there once this lockdown is out of the way.

    I'm not sure I'd bother. It's not what it used to be. Nearly all the music shops are gone.
