I'd tell ya if I knew!

After wandering into the acoustic room at the local GC a while back & playing a used BR, I was real impressed. It stacked up nicely against the Martins & other high end acoustics that were priced at almost 5 times a much.

Started looking on eBay for one & got this one for a bid I thought would never win it. Gotta love those late Friday night auction endings...!

    She is definitely a keeper.

Hands down, it's gotta be the Peterson tuner app for the iPhone. $10. I got a LOT of really good stuff for dirt cheap this year, but that one's the superstar.

It would have to be the Takamine C-132 I picked up at a pawn shop for $125. It was a factory second because of a couple dings. They retail new for a little over $1000. It wasnt a deal but a steal!

Brand new Acoustic G35FX amp off the net from Woodwind & Brass. $77 including shipping. 2 Channels, 12" Speaker, 35 Watts w. Reverb and normally sells for about $149. It certainly isn't Deluxe Reverb but I've spent more money on worse.

I got a used Line 6 Pod 2.0 for $100. Not really a super bargain, but it's cool.

Not the cheapest, but probably the best value - Moollon Tremolo for £45 off the bay. Really nice sounding trem, and built so well.

This mysterious Maestro amp. Labeled as a Reverb Echo Deluxe, this is a 25 watter with a 15" Utah...the Reverb Echo Deluxe "should" be a 16 watter with a single 12". It was an eBay find, and I would've paid three times the price.

Wow. I looked away while having a busy day and boom - 32 posts! Lots of cool stuff here.

This would be my runner up.

Peavey Royal 8 amps chassis. $20. Craigslist. The guy dropped the combo amp in his draiveway and the wood combo smashed. He saved the chassis and sold it for $20. I built the little pine frame and made a speaker output jack box. 5 watt class A amp. Total cost $20 + $4.50 at the hardware store for a pine scrap and some bolts.

The little wood frame was a 20 minute father/son project. It sounds ok.

$399 shipped; I like it so much that I searched for a hardcase. Found one with a guitar in it (minus bridge and tuners) this one branded by Washburn for $175 shipped!

STUPIT good guitars. Block under the bridge, 25.5" scale, thinline.

It's either going to have to be the near mint Fender Frontman 212R for $140, the now near mint Hot Rod Deluxe for $160, or the Jet City 1x12 cabinet and active di box thrown in for $80. Hmmmm, it's been a good year!

Great Divide Campfire: $70, shipped from MF Stupid Deal
    Setup and strings: $75
$145 for a playable guitar with a solid top that I won't worry about taking with me anywhere is a pretty good bargain in my book.

Honorable mention also goes to my Mooer Black Secret Rat clone. Thanks to smoss469 posting the discount code, I got this thing for $44 shipped, and it's my new favorite pedal. I've only ever tried the modern Rats, and was underwhelmed, but this thing made me a believer!

Second runner up would be my Orange Micro Terror. It's a lot of amp for $150.
