The brewery scenes in Strange Brew were filmed at Pacific Western Brewery in Prince George, BC.
I lived in PG, and played an anniversary (of the brewery) gig there.
My buddy used to date Holly Cole and I've played with her a few times, great singer.
I agree with what has been said about Rush, Gordon Lightfoot, Leonard Cohen, Oscar Peterson, the Collectors, Neil Young, etc.
Just want to add some metal like Sacred Blade/Othyrworld, Annihilator, Exciter, and Zaum's atmospheric doom.
We will take Hanks 1&2, Elvis , Waylon and Jimi

From the last album Moe Koffman made. Moe plays flute, with Ed Bickert on guitar. As most of you know, he played a Tele with a Gibson humbucker in the neck position. (I met the tech who installed it for him).
I don’t even pretend to be at the level EB is at here. However, I did go to hear them whenever I could.

I got to meet and chat with her a couple of years ago on a Saturday night. She got into my car when I was driving for Uber. It was dark and I didn’t recognize her right away, and the ride was on her friends account. We fell into talking about music. There was something about her face and voice that was familiar. I realised who she was just a few minutes before dropping her off in Yorkville and told her so. She seemed a little surprised that I recognized her. She is really very sweet and friendly.
