i was staring down at my MXR vibe pedal this evening thinking that we really don’t need the PAR 64 LED lights when this thing is on.

Reminds me of my old Roctron Pulse tremolo pedal. I think it had a 1/4" light pipe coming off of the blue LED. The whole stage, band and audience could see how fast the trem was going.

Another reason to love Boss pedals. They don’t do that.

Sometimes I wish some of mine were that bright, the pedals with the red LED seem to get lost in some lighting and cant tell if they're on or not. Has caused some issues when you stack pedals, and forget you rolled off the volume on the guitar!

Also +1 on the Carbon Copy, and the LEDs on the ends of the powerboards that make you think you left the bedroom light on.

Those small Joyo pedals have two white LEDs and you can't read the controls, but they're not that bright when you put that cover on.

There was a newer pedal I got that had a very bright red LED, much more than older ones. I think it might have been the Valeton phaser, but I don't feel like plugging it in right now.

    MXR chorus...

If I play a seaside festival gig with it, I get accused of causing shipwrecks.

I left the lights on my Donner power supply on by mistake, and when I went to the bathroom in the night, I thought there were aliens hovering outside ready to abduct me.

When I am the builder, I try to dim or balance the light of each pilot at a sightable, but reasonable level... ;)
