First one is maybe 77 with my old Epi (underage playing in a bar), 2nd one was probably 75 in my Mom's basement holding my brother's Ric (blonde Tele on the left, and my 1st electric a 65 SG special on the right in the background). 3rd was maybe 82, me on the left with the blonde Tele (out of my teens by then). 4th my Dan Smith Strat in about 85 or so. Then attempting to play bass in about 86. Wouldn't have any pics if it wasn't for my brother, he almost always had a camera. Still have the Epi and the Tele.

Just when you thought it couldn't get worse! Same band as a few pages ago. I still have the leather strides but it's been years since I fitted into them.

I was 18 and I had a Gibson EB0 and big hair. A year or so later I had a Precision (which I still have) and even bigger hair (Which I don't)

Damm, I still can’t find the old photo of me as a kid standing on top of our giant PA speakers with my Les Paul Custom.

Me with the Cherry Wine Les Paul, the two photos 20+ years apart.

Holy crap, that's a late 70's Gretsch Committee, same as my first "real" guitar I purchased new In Brockton, Mass, Junior or Senior year of high school, 78 or 79. This is the only pic I have of me with mine back then, probably Xmas 79.

And then here she is over 30 years later, with OHSC. Removed the ridiculous pickguard and dropped in some Dream 90's, but the thing still had no mojo so I finally said goodbye. Still kicking myself cuz the high school bud I played with bought his first real ax at the same time and chose an Oly White Strat. CBS heavyweight, sure, but I'd love to have it over the wonky Committee...

Sorry, pics should be public now.

Sidenote, what's the easiest way to post pics here, cuz uploading to my media was not.

The first pictures were around 1980. I liked striped shirts. The road sign above the drummer was prophetic.

    1980 (2).jpg

By around 1984 we were considerably louder & not much better....

I know someone out there has my earliest band days photograph out there somewhere but they sure as beans makes gas don't hang around here. Which is a good thing. I couldn't BS my arse off if they did. BTW, now we know where GAS comes from, if it bothers you ... STOP EATING BEANS.

1988. I was 19 years old. With my 1984 Les Paul Studio. I wish I still had that one.

Why not participate? No pics I know of from any of my band's shows, and even though I'm only maybe sixteen in this picture, we did play a few gigs around where we could. There used to be a few all ages venues around. I don't think I was ever at home without my guitar nearby.

Cheap Squier Strat I won in a contest. Second guitar but I still have it. The Harmony I started on is long gone by now.
