Well here's me in 1995, playing one of my home made monsters. As I recall, the way that I amplified that thing was by sticking a Schaller Oyster pickup underneath the pickguard, it worked but didn't sound all that good.

I still own the parts of that thing, perhaps I should reassemble it.

Well, here is one of mine. About 13 at the time. Back in 1960. My second band. I'm on the left with the white 1959 Dano double cut three pickup guitar.

Here is one a couple years later. By then I had the Bigsby installed.

A little after Christmas, 1988 after receiving it as a gift. Not sure why I have a tie on.

Edited to add: Still have it! Have the case, strap, hangtag, receipt. I recently put on a different neck -- the original is so thin, as was the style of the 80's -- but still have the original. The only thing original I do not have is the orginal pickguard, which cracked because I was always shoving extra heavy picks under it.

I might have been 21 at the time. But I still acted like a teenager. Late 70's Tele. Silver face twin in the back. Sold both a year later.

I was 14-15 here. Playing on top of a flatbed at the Palo, IA summer festival.

The guitar was a newly bought Les Paul Studio Lite that I detassled corn to save up for. My ex wife pilfered it from storage 15 years in the future.

We were riding the grunge wave and played a handful of terrible originals with a couple Nirvana covers mixed in. While our friends were quite excited about this gig, the citizens of Palo, IA didn’t understand our potential. We were asked to leave after four songs, which was ok since we only had six.

I got my one and only “Play Freebird” here.

What's the LP clone? Is that an SC in the neck and bucker in the bridge?

Sometime around 1969-70 in the suburbs of Philly, with my beloved Epiphone Coronet. I was 16 or 17.

Another shot from that same gig. Look at all the Kustom gear! (You can't see it, but I was running a Bandmaster head through the two black Kustoms at the time, it was sitting behind the PA heads at the front of the stage. Dunno where that Sunn head came from.)

    Awesome pictures!
I didn't start playing until I was 30, so no pictures.

To tell you the truth, that day I was more proud of the dress than I was the guitar - but we change (a lot !)

You talk a lot tougher than you look! I think the dress is very becoming.
