Many moons ago, when you could buy a big bag of last nights leftover chicken from KFC for a dollar...

One of the old guys in the machine shop where I worked would sit in the break room eating his cheap chicken dinner: a bite of chicken and a bite of a tiny, green pepper. They were smaller than a lady's pinky fingertip and intensely green like a Jalapeno.

I asked what they were, he had no idea. He just handed me a cold chicken leg and a pepper. OMG, I thought I was gonna pass out from the pain. He just laughed.

I used to enjoy the heat; Tobasco on everything, jalapenos on everything. I had bottles of the hottest sauce known to man (at the time). Now, I have to order "no jalapenos, por favor". They don't bother my gut...but even the mildest pepper puts me in intense pain.

Now...horseradish, fresh ground, garden grown...I love it!

Sounds like a pequine. Small, green/red and hot. It is hot. No question. But they work well with tomato sandwiches.
Also good in goulash, stews, or any tomato based meals
