I have an opportunity for a new fuzz. Both are used, both are the same price. I have ZERO need for a new fuzz, I just want something fun to make noise.

Here is what I currently have for fuzzes:

EHX Big Muff Nano with JHS mod
    Earthquaker Fuzz Meister General
    Vick Audio 73 Ram's Head

You pick the next, they are both Earthquaker, either the Erupter or the Park Sound.

Never played either. I like the name of the Park Sound.

Since you don’t need another fuzz pedal you should just get both The Erupter and Park Sound.

The Park might be a bit close to the muffs. I'd go erupter.

I'll go way outside the box and say if you don't need a new one, go budget and get TWO new pedals that are classic clones.

The Danelectro French Toast is an absolute beast of an octave fuzz (and I don't even like the octave part), and a clone of the Foxx Tone Machine. About $35-40

The Behringer Super Fuzz is a clone of the Vox Superfuzz and has two fuzzes on switch plus a boost. I've been digging the boost section as the others are a bit over the top for what I'm doing right now.

If you still want to stick to your original two choices, I'd go with the Park.

I voted Park Sound because so you can play with an old school germanium fuzz. Have fun.

Update. I bought them both. Different, yet similar in a lot of ways. I think that I like the eruptor a little better so far, but will probably develop more of an opinion as I try them with different amps.

When in doubt always buy both!
I seem to love about half the fuzzz I buy, and end up using about one in five, but I gotta lotta fuzzz.

Almost bid on a Park but it may have been a park park not an earthquaker park.

Owned a mid '60s Park amp years ago so I have a soft spot in my heart for Park.
IIRC the Park Fuzz is a Tone Bender variant?

Is the Erupter one of the modern massive bass fuzzz?
Those don't stay on my board long.
