I like having a variety available but more often than not it's an Esquire that does most of the work for me.

This counts as an abomination (although it sounds incredible for a $300 guitar!)

I don’t collect. I only have Telecasters because they work. Every time I’ve tried something else, I keep coming back to a Tele. And every time I’ve tried to “improve” the simple formula, I keep coming back to a solid body, maple neck, 3 brass saddles on an ashtray, “Leo got it right...” Telecaster. I’m simple, I guess.

I've had various Teles over the years but was actually without a standard 2xSC Tele for about a year until recently... I fell down the P90 rabbit hole, and whilst I haven't climbed out yet was really missing 'that' sound, so built myself a partscaster.

Don't have a family photo with them all in yet but here they are.

    First pic
    Gordon Smith GS Deluxe
    Epiphone 57 reissue junior
2xP90 partscaster, loosely based on a Tele Deluxe
    2019 Gibson Les Paul Special

Second pic is the new partscaster

My 2 main guitars are the Gordon Smith and Gibson if I'm honest, but the red Tele is getting a lot of attention at the moment

Polls don't seem to show up in the Tapatalk app for me, but here's why I've got currently.

    93 Les Paul Studio Lite
    "72 Custom Thinline"-inspired Tele build
    "72 Deluxe Cabronita"-inspired Tele build
Les Paul Special-PRS ("Les PRS") inspired build
    Squire Deluxe Strat

I'm in the process of building a DC Jr inspired guitar. I do love Teles from the 70's and their "offspring", but I'm more grounded in Les Paul-based guitars for what feels "right."

    I have 4 Teles
The first time I played one
it just felt right, always my 1st choice.

I also have 3 archtop which run a close 2nd.
No matter what I play it's got to be
    25 1/2" scale; don't like short scale.

I'm in a couple of bands, one is just a covers thing for fun, sort of punky/new wave stuff, the other is originals although we're not ready for gigging yet, still early stages.
The covers band tends to play parties and pub gigs mainly (although not for a while obviously!).... We're based down the road in Newton Abbot. We played Teignmouth airshow last year which was an odd gig for us in terms of audience, but we went down ok

Used to play bass in a band many years ago with the same name as my username.... We played Exeter fairly regularly, Cavern, Phoenix etc... I'm talking early 90s though.
