Recently, I've started to wonder if I'm a goober. I don't know if this in itself makes me one or proves that I'm not one. So I'm trying to get a handle on what a goober is. In the spirit of Jeff Foxworthy, I'd like to generate a list of possible goober attributes, so I can check my gooberness quotient. Please help by adding to this list:

You MAY be a goober, if:
1. You have more knobs on your amp than strings on your guitar.
2. You bought a cheapo guitar and then spent more than the purchase price upgrading it.
3. You have participated in an acrimonious debate about tone woods (double points if you initiated it).
4. You make more joke posts than useful posts. (ruh roh...)
5. You have stated opinions about the quality or value of guitars that you have never actually played.

Surely there must be more, but it already doesn't look too good for me....
