Where did you get the idea that Nebraska is the top dairy supplier??? Even the Nebraska Dairy Association says that Nebraska is 10th in the nation in milk production per cow. And if they're 10th per cow, they sure as heck are not the number one dairy supplier. Reread the information from the link that you posted. California is the top dairy producer. Wisconsin used to be, long ago.
Oh cool, kudos for CA. I must've misread something. Ain't no thang!

You know you live in Wisconsin if:
There are Winter Cyclone Storm warnings announced and you just shrug your shoulders, head to the KwikTrip and buy 2 cases of beer. And stuff to make sandwiches.

Oh, and gas up the vehicles and the snowblower. Then make sure you you fresh batteries in the flashlights and candles for back up. A couple bags of ice for the cooler.

Then make plans to work remote on the day it starts.

I spent a month's worth of the coldest days of my life in Wisconsin! God bless those who choose to live there.

The Spotted Cow secrets and mysteries....

It is not at extremes of hops or malt and has some thickness on the tongue so appeals to many or at least is not offensive. The limited availability is the simple matter of not pasteurized and not contract brewed in other places.

There was talk of Huber here. My first meeting of the New Glarus owners was of all things stopping in their new place on way back from Huber and another of my then employer's customers in Monroe. Their success has not been a surprise to me.

Huber beer is horrid. In my experience there's a noticeable "Huber taint" in everything they brew.
