With the cheap cardboard frames. You know:[IMG]

Kids used to put them in their bedrooms, and their school lockers. Well, kids of my generation, anyway.

I was just thinking how cool it'd be to have some of these things to put in my cubicle at work, to show what a rad dude I am

I must have just missed that trend. I was still hanging Penthouse Pets in my school days.

    Carny art.

You’d win two and give the one with the band you didn’t like to the girl in the red white and blue tube top.

Just walk by and hand it to her - never stopped - just hand it to her - and keep walking and say - without turning back - “I won that for you...”

You could hear her friends giggling .

If you scored some Crystal T from Scary Debbie’s brother (Her oldest brother, the one that would hang around the school parking lot - 3 years after he graduated ?)

    Yeah , that one.

Well then you could snort that rat poison/drano/whatever off the one you kept. April Wine ? Pat Travers ? Who knows ?

What did it matter ? Snnnnnnnneeeeerrrrrrk . (Ahh - it’s dripping down your throat . What is this ? ) You won something and that’s what counts. Because it was rare. To win.

You knew it and so did your old man.

And he never failed to bring it up.

    Yeah.

    I remember those mirrors ...

I remember. None have survived. I remember having Kiss, and I didn't like them.

There were also some TV shows... like Charlie's Angels, The A Team, or The Fall Guy.

I remember them for sure. And I wish I had about a hundred of them. I’d love to use them as tiles on the men’s room wall in the bar I manage. It would be awesome!

I've got one of Dale Earnhardt's Goodwrench #3 hanging in the basement above the workbench. I had several others (Led Zeppelin, SKOAL, etc.) over the years, but this is the only one that has survived.

I haven't been the boardwalk for 30 years...they may still have them for all I know!

I flashed back to a Ted Nugent mirror littered with various seeds and residues, on my buddy's coffee table. Most of the best, and worst nights of my life began and/or ended around that coffe table!

And depending on the year, that one carny at that one ride would play the same tape/CD whatever all day long, over and over

Might've been Boston, maybe Thriller, or Pyromania, might've been Appetite for Destruction...

My home theater has various size round mirrors all over one wall from the original home owner. I hate them but my wife likes them so....you know. I'd much prefer these.
