More like castrate.....
I've seen guitars like that saved though. I have a friend that repairs and builds guitars from scratch. He could take that guitar, glue in the missing part and do a relic job or refinish and you'd have to really pay attention to know it's there if at all..
The price though.. and..
Why people have the urge to take a nice "stock?" guitar, and uglify it like that...I'll never knw!
On the bright side, it’s a 1970 tele, so meh.
Good luck selling that. There should be a law against doing that to a Tele. Criminal.
I'd buy it, but that 6-saddle, rattlehammer bridge is unacceptable.
Unbelievable. Leaves me speechless.
Looks like something was trying to turn it into a SG.....
Its listed by Chicago Music Exchange. They should know better than this.
Nobody mentioned the best part of that listing:
"Only 1 available".
Never drink while refinishing a guitar
Wow. Stickers too? I see stuff like this on Craigslist and Facebook. Looks like somebody gifted a nice tele to some teenager, and this is the result.
That’s pretty weird for the Chicago Music Exchange to offer that monstrosity for almost $4 grand. WTF? I guess the neck might be worth a decent bit by itself
But it has free shipping!
[QUOTE="Dismalhead,. Maybe someone should offer him like $10.[/QUOTE]
or $10 worth of matches to finish the job
It's such a dog that I kinda like it.
I'll keep my money though.
We need a vomit emoticon.
