You can only have one brand of guitar but as many as you’d like.

    Fender, of course! :D

(But I’d have to get an ES-Les Paul, an ES-339, and a D’Angelico EX-SS “for my wife” ;))

Don’t play Mandolin but have thought about getting one to mess with. Many would say I don’t play guitar either. But, if I did I would want one that looked nice. That one does. I also don’t know diddly about Mandolins or companies that make them. That one probably won’t happen .

well, looks don’t count when it comes to sound, ime....but Collings does build nice looking instruments. The one I am working on right now might be the best sounding Collings I have been around....it is an OM-2H Model.

Being that I depend on working acoustic as much as I do electric, and sometimes more... I‘m going with Gibson.

Logan Custom Guitars. I already have seven, but I would be thrilled to have more.

But coming back to reality, I’m not going to get rid of the Hohner G-940 I’ve had for 37 years. Nor will I part with the 1953 vintage Harmony Broadway H-954 I recently bought. Nor will I...well, you get the idea.

But in theory, yeah, I could thrive on all Logan Custom guitars.

Yamaha. Killer F style and G style and unique guitars really cool and great sounding acoustics and basses. Yamaha gets my vote.

Electric - toss up between Lucky Dog, Ron Kirn and Rick Kelly
    Acoustic - Collings
Archtop - vintage Epiphone or Gibson

For one brand overall, Fender and its daughter companies would probably cover it.

Probably the Godin family of instruments because they constantly make very good (not great) guitars. I could get enough variety that would more than adequately meet my needs.

Be a close toss between Yamaha and Ibanez... but Yamaha would be the one if i has to pick. Got everything from Classical to Bass to Semis and Superstrats covered.

Yamaha SA and SG models have got gibson 3xx and Les Pauls absolutely beat.

It's not even close. Gibson all the way.
Les Pauls (jr., JR DC, Special, special DC, Gold top P90's...the list goes on)
    SG (double necks too)
    ES models, Trini Lopez
    Explorers
    V's
    Firebirds
Do I need to list the acoustics and basses?

I would go with Ibanez, but might be convinced to go Yamaha-- mainly because I also play some classical
and Yamaha makes concert quality classical guitars, too.

Good thing you don't play acoustic guitar... Fender acoustics suck.
