Wide Mouth Mason!
Yeah, the organ was low in the mix, but you can't discount what Chick Churchill added. This is one of my all time favorites from them, and CC has a nice piano solo too.
Gotta agree. Lots of bands I feel the vocalist/frontman is the weak link. In fact, I listen more to instrumental rock more than anything with vocals these days unless I'm listening to older stuff.
Good call. I also deeply love High On Fire. Matt Pike is astounding.
The Screaming Blue Messiahs
Goo Goo Dolls
The Winery Dogs
Oh gosh - John Mayer!

Wow. I had no idea that anyone outside of Canada actually knew about this band. They've been a favourite of mine since their first album. Shaun Verreault is a great guitarist, and they have some very good songs.
I’m semi Canadian.
My late Mom was from St. Johns.

The 'Passion, Grace and Fire album line-up. A true three-piece, with no other musicians.
Also, The Pat Travers Band (with the amazing Mars Cowling on bass - RIP). The first three albums, before Pat Thrall joined.
Just got done listening to Dopesmoker.
...Who counts the singer? ok Fine.... Because of the pissing match in the Simo/X thread.
At this time another canadian trio ... The Tea Party ! A band to discover !
I find it a little ridiculous and insulting that only one person in the first 2 pages of this thread has mentioned The Experience. For chrissakes, on a Fender forum???
Eh, no need to repeat those already named.
