Yeah, the organ was low in the mix, but you can't discount what Chick Churchill added. This is one of my all time favorites from them, and CC has a nice piano solo too.

Gotta agree. Lots of bands I feel the vocalist/frontman is the weak link. In fact, I listen more to instrumental rock more than anything with vocals these days unless I'm listening to older stuff.

Good call. I also deeply love High On Fire. Matt Pike is astounding.

    These freakin' lists. Fine:

    Fenway Park
    The Mormon Tabernacle Choir
    The Jackie Gleason Orchestra
A moose once bit my sister
76,000 battery llamas, from Llama Fresh Farms, LTD
Yes, shortly after his death in 1962
    Rush

I hope we're not including studio albums in this, since with very few exceptions there were all kinds of session player sitting in.

    Oh, and Rush.

Wasn't Blind Faith a TPB? They were great, even if Stevie Winwood was like 12 years old at the time (well, he looked like it)

Wow. I had no idea that anyone outside of Canada actually knew about this band. They've been a favourite of mine since their first album. Shaun Verreault is a great guitarist, and they have some very good songs.

    I’m semi Canadian.
My late Mom was from St. Johns.
I lived and worked in Canada from 1992-2003.
I settled in Pr. George, and later Quesnel, BC.
I love Wide Mouth Mason, Big Sugar, Jann Arden, and Kim Mitchell!
    Great singers/writers/players all!

The 'Passion, Grace and Fire album line-up. A true three-piece, with no other musicians.

Also, The Pat Travers Band (with the amazing Mars Cowling on bass - RIP). The first three albums, before Pat Thrall joined.

I find it a little ridiculous and insulting that only one person in the first 2 pages of this thread has mentioned The Experience. For chrissakes, on a Fender forum???
