Hi all,
The plan is to build an Esquire. Single pickup will be a Seymore Duncan STK3B. Volume is a push pull pot to 'tap' that pickup. Then a three position switch making use of the Eldred mod. So.. I'm hoping I'd get 6 tones out of that. Three Eldred mod tones with the first coil and then three more 'hotter' with the full set of coils. Does this have legs and have any of you tried this or have the wiring diagram. I'm happy to build and then play around with the wiring but it'd be nice to go in with a better idea. Thanks. Rob C

Hello, This is very easily possible but can be more specific about what tones you want to achieve?

The three positions on the Eldred Mod are Volume only, Volume & Tone and preset tone and volume. Is this what you want from the switch or do you want multiple preset tones?

Recently I created some circuits, variations on a theme, that are similar to what you're asking for. I've posted them below for you to take a look at.

The first one is probably the nearest to what your looking for as it's the Eldred mod with push/pull for coil splitting.

The next one is a variation on the Eldred Mod that only requires one pot that switches between tone or volume with a SPDT switch for coil splitting.

The last one is a combination of the Eldred and Arlo (Cocked Wah) mods with a SPDT switch for coil splitting.
