Just looked the premise of Yesterday up. After reading about it, I hope that I am lucky enough to never even see a trailer of it, but I know that's asking an awful lot. My only question about the movie is WHY? Oh, to make money. Okay, I'm good with that, you just can't have any of mine.

I will watch it on a rainy day when it comes to YouTube. Not the first few hundred times when it's in foreign language but when the first English language version is eventually uploaded.

I feel like I heard about this a long time ago? Has it been in production for a while?

Cute premise. The trailer is enough, for this Beatles fan.

Yeah, that was a bit harsh. I have some stuff going on here and I'm a bit annoyed today.

You could still get away with claiming Beatles songs as your own today if you pick the right town to perform them in.

The wife and I took in the film this evening. It is a fun “alternative reality” film. It did NOT take a couple of the turns I expected it to. They could have cut out some of Kate McKinnon’s caricature performance as Ed Sheeran’s manager, but that is the only flaw of note.

I do not want to give too much away, but there is a scene that struck me emotionally. Nothing has hit me like this since the final reel of LOTR’s The Return of the King. Yes, I am a rank sentimentalist and I think a couple of you may feel the same.

If you love The Beatles’ music, you should check this out.

The primus of the film is fatally flawed to me. So, it's just not something I would be interested in, but I don't wish to discourage someone else who might be able to buy into the whole thing from seeing it. I don't mind something being off in la la land IF it can be even a little bit believable. It's not likely the whole world is going to just forget the Beatles.

Okay, I felt like I had been a little harsh, so I braved it, and went to the OP and watched one minute and twenty seconds of the trailer. It's not anyone else's fault, I have just lived too long, and I was alive, and saw the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show. I remember the first time I ever heard Yesterday. I suppose if someone with the gift can write one song like Yesterday in a lifetime, it's been enough. I just can't...

I'm running out of free movies to watch on YouTube. Hundreds are added every month but 98% of them are in foreign language with sleazy click bait pics.
I'll have to be in the right mode or bored out of my mind but I will watch it on there at some point. It will probably be a couple years before it makes it on to YouTube without being removed. They still remove movies from the 50's on there hoping to squeeze a few bucks from renting them. They leave the foreign dubbed versions of new releases up though.
