Opens tomorrow (my birthday). Any of you have plans to see it? I’m going to see it on Sunday. It looks very interesting to me.

I plan to see it, even though we already know the whole plot already. Dude knows the songs, gets famous, can't convince people, feels bad about it, and I'm sure there's a girl involved. But yeah, will watch.

GREAT PREMISE!.....you go see it and let me know how it was. :)
Seriously, it'll be on Netflix in a few months, and I'll see it then.
    Thanks for the trailer.

I'm not sure I could sit through it. I like the Beatles, just not keen on watching some random guy pretending to cover their songs with the usual Hollywood garb thrown in.
I feel like I've already seen it after watching the trailer for it.

If some surprise Zombies showed up and scary violence ensued I could be tempted.

I know, right? There'll be a car chase, a bunch of CGI, some kind of romance, a foiled plot to overthrow a government, and a lost dog coming home. So predictable.

Well, I saw the trailer when I went to "rocket man", probably better than the rest of the movies that I had to endure the trailers for over 20 minutes prior to the feature!!

No, you're confusing this with a contemporary country song (but left out Mama, and jail)!!

Yes, also a social justice message or manipulation thrown in for good measure. Gets boring after the first few hundred movies all along those lines.

And sitting on the porch on Saturday, and goin' to church on Sunday, and bragging about how he's so country.

I heard Ringo will resurrect his role as Manuel in Candy as a cameo.

Ringo should play a small guest role as a dodgy record company guy in the movie.
Paul could be the unscrupulous manager. It would be fun to see them taking a dig at the industry.

For the right price they could have got Heather Mills as the gold digging groupies Mother.

I'm currently watching Blazing Saddles. It gives the social justice message from a slightly different angle.

Thanks for the post G. I have a recurring dream where I go back in time, circa 1965, and I'm at a Beatles recording/creating session. I'm talking to them but I know what's going to happen to each of them. I start out giving them hints and suggestions on the songs I know they're going to be writing. It's going very well. In my dream, I get kinda sad because I have to tell them what's going to happen to them in the future. The dream kinda evaporates after that.
