what? I thought everybody had one by now.
Lol there is another one for only 290 if that one is too steep for you....
I don't smoke. I don't know anyone who does -- who the heck smokes these days?
Now this is dang handy.
I don't smoke, but those ST Dupont lighters seem to be pretty expensive regardless of if they're Fender branded or not.
Yes, that's what you're really paying for... that tell-tale "cling". Sure. BTW, do we know that Fender even sanctions this nosense?
But will it help your tone?
Oh, I'm sure they are, I just don't know why Fender thought it made any business sense for them to start co-branding ultra-luxury goods. My sense is they've got enough problems to deal with in their core business.
My guess is that these types of products are just licensing agreements. Some company (lighter company, clothing company like Lucky Brand, etc...) comes to Fender and says we want to license your trademark for a product and we will pay x to do so.
Since FMIC puts their premium logo on low end garbage instruments why not also put it on high end consumer goods?
I prefer the PRS version.
I'm not feeling a lot of love in the room right now...
Who's got PhotoShop skillz?
Man could you imagine losing a $1300 light?
Woman of your dreams asks for a light, sorry lady I can't risk it.
I'll wait for the Squier Affinity version.
You have to remember that the general population of this forum is not who Fender targets here. Wanna bet that Clapton has one? Jeff Beck? How about Jim Irsay? Drop in a bucket for those guys. Personally I think Fender has it right-You can buy an Affinity Strat for $200 or a Custom Shop Strat for $5,000 and everything in between. They cater to a lot of markets and overall I think we are lucky for it.
If you can afford cohibas you can get that lighter. Lol
It's probably lighter.
I have a pre B.S. one from 62. They just made them better back then.
