Anybody used it? Got a line on a nice plank wide enough for one piece bodies but dont know much about it. Seems resonant when I tap on it.

Hard. Heavy. Killed my delta bandsaw. I have a grudge. Abort.

Anything makes a body, given the right size. The problem is whether or not you can work it.

    I can't.

If it's anywhere near as expensive as purple heart, count me out.

Isn`t yellowheart toxic? I mean, it might sound AMAZING, just be careful with the dust.

I just found some boards that would be big enough, too. I am also hesitant to try it though. Anybody here actually made a guitar with it before?

Water is toxic if ya drink enough… yeah, check it out…. don;t seem to stop people from Jumpin' in...

Go for it…. taping tells ya nothing… stringing up a finished guitar and pickin' for a while tells ya everything ya need to know….

In 1967 Dr. Desmond Morris wrote in his book, "The Naked Ape" . . to paraphrase…. the one thing that is the most limiting to a persons personal advancement . . their fear to explore.

Make that sumbeech and if nothing else, making it will be a hellova lotta fun…and a good reason to drink more beer…

I appreciate what Ron said! I just finished one that's got a body of pine sandwiched between two 1/4" MDF pieces. When I play it, it Sounds exactly like an electric guitar to me.
