Kind of depends----it comes natural to some
Yes, I would. I'm waiting for mine to come in to the shop now. I ordered it a couple of weeks ago.
They are not inexpensive! I finally went for a SportsKilt, for now. I have to decide if I want to go the full 8 yards of hot wool material which I'll only wear a few times a year for celebrations. But a nice Black Watch Tartan is always in fashion. My tartan isn't always available from the mills even though the family has had their own tartan for a long time, so I decided to go with a tartan that is a generic that anyone can wear, but it always available...
If in doubt Black Watch is the one to go for , classy and works for all occasions. Barmitsvahs , Baptisms , Stag nights , Hen nights ,Rugby anything and of course the weddings.
Royal Kilt answers all question within 24 hours. I really like the customer service as well as the product. They are good quality.
Keep up the good job!

I'm seriously tempted to get one of those utility kilts to wear at the summer cottage. Cargo shorts with air conditioning sounds like a great idea.
All very well, but you'd be arrested if you returned the curiosity...
There is a guy in my neighbour hood who wears a plain black kilt. He has two lovely kids
and has an occasional beer at the local pub. But why plain black- no clan identity?
I personally would not wear one, and with Scotland's cold climate, I wonder why the Scots didn't invent something more covering.
Still, that's their choice, just like our cargo and or shorts.
Not for no reason but it's just clothes. If you are Scottish and its traditional clothing for you and your family, why not? Or if you were part of something celebrating Scotish heritage like a wedding or some other event then no biggie.
Belted plaid is the real traditional, and it's cheaper.
No, they look utterly ridiculous.
I would. And I'd wear a locally-sourced one.
I would, and we've got this place, locally:
No with a capitol N . I consider it just this side of cross dressing ...... besides it would look stupid with cowboy boots .
Well, as long is it's THIS side of cross dressing and not THAT side of cross dressing.......................
No f---ing way!
I suppose I would if all my skirts were in the laundry...
quite a zombie thread but ...
What's worn under my kilt? Nothing, everything works fine!
I wore one riding my Triumph to the Austin Celtic Festival and a bee got blown under it ...
