    I would in the right situation.

    Albanach, my favorite pipe and drum band wears the traditional Great Kilt. It's a pretty amazing garment. It's a flat, 9 yard length of wool that can serve as a winter coat, a tent and a duffle bag as well as covering your nether bits.

    I have worn mine a few times, though in small gatherings (and the Highland games) so not exactly "in public". My Highland roots are away back on my mothers' mothers' side, so I don't think I can technically claim it. Mine is just tan, but I want a utilikilt, too.

    But it definitely feels funny to wear it 'proper'.
