And one that complements my Flowered shirt?
Stop right there... Really? Cool!
Sure. Doesn't everyone have a bagpipe instructor?
Not the guys that play from the Heart.
Trust me with the pipes, you don't want to hear someone play from the heart
This is to seal the deal
Here's our very own Eve Muirhead. The OP has a ' thing ' for her. As you ALL can see from the picture she is fan of the KILT , is into GOLF , HUNTING , plays the BAGPIPE and is into things AMERICAN !!!
I do? Um, okay. I will not quibble! As a matter of fact, sure, I will agree to have a 'thing' for her
I do though think that possibly you've confused the "Speaking of all things Scottish" thread with the "Would You Wear a Kilt?" thread
Check out the Women Of Curling Calendars. NSFW.
Correction accepted. I will re post.
I would in the right situation.
Albanach, my favorite pipe and drum band wears the traditional Great Kilt. It's a pretty amazing garment. It's a flat, 9 yard length of wool that can serve as a winter coat, a tent and a duffle bag as well as covering your nether bits.
Nope. Geek-wear for role-playing nerds.
Auch, yer a wee man.
Dude! Thanks for the tip!
MY lord look at the huge.......collection of muskets!
Loving those shoes. Can I get them in a 9?
Thanks to this thread, every other page I go to has GoogleAds trying to sell me kilts!
I have worn mine a few times, though in small gatherings (and the Highland games) so not exactly "in public". My Highland roots are away back on my mothers' mothers' side, so I don't think I can technically claim it. Mine is just tan, but I want a utilikilt, too.
But it definitely feels funny to wear it 'proper'.
If I did wear a kilt, I'd have the opportunity to show of my huge sporran.
