    I'm late to this thread but I see kilts at shows all the time

    I shared a table with a couple at the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, the dude was sporting a solid black kilt. Dropkick Murphy's had many examples in the crowd.
    Flagging Molly a couple dudes rocking tartan in the pit. You see the trend here.

    I thought it was a Scottish thing, but I was told there is some Irish use of the kilt as well. I'm of Irish decent but my only tartan in on the inside of my Harrington.

    It's real. Throughout history, manly men have always had long hair. Men only had short hair from WW I to '64.
