Rick Beato FTW.
It's funny you'd ask this question! I had the experience..."experience?" of watching a "Tone King" video for the first time the other day. I maybe got 4 minutes into it. I was suffering from a sinus infection, so I was impaired, so don't judge me too harshly. It seemed like a bunch of pseudo-playing by a guy who hadn't learned anything on guitar since he was about 17 years old and had started playing at 15. I don't mean to sound judgey, but I guess I am. He seems like a nice enough guy, but I surely don't want to run into him at a music store.
The other guy, McKnight, I don't think I'd care to run into anywhere, either.
I live in a town where I once looked up in traffic and realized Redd Volkaert was driving behind me in his Honda CRV. I saw Chris Layton sitting across from me at the Whole Foods eating tacos once. I generally don't talk to famous people unless I have a real reason to. I think it's cute a few bedroom warriors somehow managed to cobble together some internet "fame" for a few minutes jacking around with guitars, but I don't want to interact with them. I figure the odds are pretty high that I won't, since I don't live on the east coast or frequent combination cannoli/guitar shops!
Even though I've been playing a long time, I hope to never consider myself an expert. I've seen a lot of stuff come and go and there's so much out there, that there are very few, if any, who have truly encyclopedic knowledge. Then the weight of all that knowledge, it's just another big old burden, no?
Rick Beato, and the Doug & Pat Show.
It would be fun to sit down and have some BBQ and a beer with Greg Koch and Phil Xenedis.
Andy? Mmmkay, you asked for it.
