Would you own a black Tele, or any other kind of black guitar for that matter?

Both. It has a very piano like sound. Warm and smooth.

I don't have a black guitar, but one might go good with my black Glock.

To be honest with you, I'm pretty sure she'd sink the ship. :D By far the heaviest 6 string electric guitar I've owned. Heavier than my Les Paul.

I've only read pages 1 and 21. What did I miss?

Why didn't I think of this?

I don't like black guitars; they all took like toys.
Except...a Les Paul Custom; it's the only black guitar that looks good. I used to have one long ago, swapped a BF Bandmaster head straight for it, but I don't like LPs anyway, so I sold it.

For guitars, I like White, Blond, or 3 color sunburst.

You might be able to take the good ol' boy out of Arkansas, but you can't take the Arkansas out of the good ol' boy!

Black is the only color that seems like it fits me. Maybe that's why I'm unhappy with my others. I guess in a bright place, seems strange...

But most of the places we played were dark as anything, so it just felt right.

It's the reissue wide range humbucker that is making you feel bad, I know, I have one stuck on the neck position of my guitar.

Well I am off to a start TD will hate.
My Road King is black. And chrome. Extra black. Not the usual extra chrome.
Now I have to find a guitar and amp to match.
    Hmm. No black car though.

Oh wait! My wifes truck is black!
And I have a black practice amp!
Snap! (Thats what my kids say....)

I'll do an inventory. If there is indeed a black guitar here I will have to create a pic just for your pleasure TD!

I would, I do. I was put off strats for a long time because I thought they were "dude" guitars, and I was put off black for a long time cuz I thought it was a "dude" color, but lo and behold -- this is the nicest strat I've ever played, my '99 Am Std, all stock:
