Wouldn't even consider it. What makes a vintage amp worth money is good condition and original components, neither of which apply here.

Other than the seller has no idea on the year or value...

It's a 135W UL model most likely from 1980. I believe these aren't considered very desirable.

It's only listed at almost twice the price I would pay here in the Bay Area - one of the most expensive places on earth! I see those coming up all the time on CL here for $750-850.

hmm. at the very least it's gonna need a recap, & no one wants those ultralinears . . . $350

If you can get it for $350 I'd take it off your hands for $275.

Not a 67, likely a UL, worth maybe 500-600 max IMHO

i kinda like the way those things sound . . . but getting it from mn to tx . . . & getting an attorney on retainer for the noise complaints . ..

(tho. of the neighbors, i went to hs with my next-door-neighbor's dad, 1 across the street is a colleague, & the others have a 'pet' bobcat living in their house . . . so . .. i probably would only have to worry about my wife calling the cops on me)

That’s about how CL pricing plays out in my neck of the woods.

According to the ad, it's candle wax that dripped on the grille cloth...

    Would not buy.

You’d get a better chance for sure ;)

If I needed a really loud amp, and this one was being offered for about a quarter of the asking price, and I had the extra money to dump on servicing it, having it modded, and purchasing a proper set of speakers, and felt like spending an afternoon going after it with a rag and a bottle of Simple Green.......I'd consider it.

    In other words....nah.
